Madhubani Painting
This art originated in the Mithila region of Bihar, where detailed painting is done depicting festivals and mythological scenes. Traditionally it is done using twigs, matchsticks, fingers and brushes with natural dyes. Madhubani sarees are like works of art that depict the richness of Hindu culture and traditions. A single piece could take anything between a few days to a month to finish.
